Student Filmmaking and Broadcast Program at Slamdance 2009

Real Ideas Studio seeks to redefine “real world experience” as a global collaborative and cultural immersion within mentored creative arts programs
Make a short film from inside the Slamdance Film Festival with other students from around the world. The Real Ideas Studio Student Filmmaking Program is a collaborative mentored experience at the world’s premiere international film event. Work in diverse teams with insider access to film-world luminaries and premieres. Receive training and support from industry and academic professionals and gain exposure and recognition for your work. Real Ideas Studio is looking for students of film, motion-graphics, public relations, marketing and journalism. Accepting applications in September.
Upon acceptance into the program, tuition is USD$1500, to cover shared lodging in Park City, Utah, accrediation/access to the Slamdance festival/screenings, daily breakfast, instruction, mentorship, program events, and use of program equipment/software. Student work created during the program will be screened during an official Slamdance Screening and Real Ideas Studio Awards ceremony. If accepted, students must arrange and pay for their own travel to and from Park City, Utah.
