Real Ideas Studio, Inc. Announces Winners of 2008 Cannes Student Filmmaking Program

SAN JOSE, Calif. — June 10, 2008 — Real Ideas Studio, Inc., a non-profit organization, announced today the winners of the Cannes Student Filmmaking Program. Real Ideas Studio seeks to redefine “real world experience” as a global collaborative and cultural immersion within mentored creative arts programs. As part of this year’s program, forty-five students from around the world worked within culturally diverse teams to create nine documentaries related to their experience at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival.

The Reel Ideas Studio Student Filmmaking Program at the Cannes Film Festival 2008

Program Dates: May 11-26, 2008

Make a short film from inside the Cannes Film Festival with other students from around the world. The Reel Ideas Studio Student Filmmaking Program is a collaborative mentored experience at the world’s premiere international film event. Work in diverse teams with insider access to film-world luminaries and premieres. Receive training and support from industry and academic professionals and gain exposure and recognition for your work. Reel Ideas Studio is looking for students of film, motion-graphics, public relations, marketing and journalism. Applications for the Reel Ideas Studio Student Filmmaking Program at the Cannes Film Festival 2008 are now closed.
